 The Eropean Union has launched within the scope of Turkey- EU Pre Accession Financial Cooperation, this twinning partnership between Turkish Ministry of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications and the Spanish Ministry of Transport and Public Works to promote a more balanced transport system in Turkey.This objective is planned to be achieved by strengthening the institutional capacity of the Turkish institutions involved in combined transport, drafting a legislation to regulate it and preparing a Turkish Intermodal Transport Strategy.
